The TerraMaster F4-424 Pro is £529.29 today, at or below the lowest price we have recorded for it (£592.49 on 23 Jul 2026). The best-value drive to fill it at a genuine low is the WD Red Pro 22TB at £365.00 (£16.59/TB).
The F4-424 Pro is TerraMaster's eight-core four-bay, with an Intel Core i3-N305, 32GB of DDR5 and two 2.5GbE ports, suited to Plex, containers and virtual machines. The newer F4-425 Plus trades CPU power for dual 5GbE and a third M.2 slot at a lower price. Both are tested against our price log here, with full four-drive build costs.

Verdicts compare today's price with the lowest price we have recorded for the same listing. Amazon was is Amazon's own reference price. Prices can change after our check; the price on Amazon.co.uk at checkout applies.
Is it really a deal?
We compare both TerraMaster four-bays with their own logged prices so the price gap between them can be judged on today's figures. 9 of 10 products we have re-priced are at or within 3% of their lowest recorded price; the TerraMaster F4-424 Pro is 11% under our recorded low of £592.49, logged on 23 Jul 2026. 1 is too new to our tracker to measure, so for it we show Amazon's own was-price as Amazon's claim, and the fill-cost table below is the better guide to value.
What a full build costs today
Each row adds enough of the cheapest in-stock NAS-rated CMR drive at that size to fill every bay, so the total is the real cost of a working TerraMaster F4-424 Pro.

Usable space uses the same maths as our RAID calculator, after about 9% formatting overhead. Drive prices are the cheapest in-stock NAS-rated CMR drive at each size when we last checked. Buy Now adds the enclosure and all the drives to your Amazon.co.uk basket in one go.
Frequently asked questions
Why pay more for the F4-424 Pro?
For CPU-heavy work: several virtual machines, many containers, or multiple Plex transcodes at once. The i3-N305's eight cores and 32GB give real headroom.
Which has faster networking?
The F4-425 Plus, with two 5GbE ports against the Pro's two 2.5GbE. For big file transfers, the Plus is quicker on a matching network.
Can the F4-424 Pro take more RAM?
It ships with 32GB in its single slot, which is the practical ceiling for this platform.
Are both good Plex servers?
Yes, both have Intel Quick Sync. The Pro handles more simultaneous transcodes; for one or two streams, the Plus is enough.
