WD Red Plus & Red Pro Deals UK – Prime Big Deal Days 2026
Prices checked
Prime Big Deal Days runs 6 to 7 October 2026 for Prime members, with new Today's Big Deals three times a day. We re-check these prices at 08:00, 16:00 and 21:00 UK time.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Prices and availability come from Amazon.co.uk as of the last update and may change.
What is genuinely cheap here today: the WD Red Pro 22TB at £365.00 (£16.59/TB), at or below the lowest price we have recorded for it (£365.00 on 25 Jul 2026). 25 of 40 products in the table are at or near their own recorded low; the rest only beat Amazon's reference price or are new to our tracker.
WD Red Plus is the quiet CMR drive most home NAS owners choose, and Red Pro is the 7200rpm, five-year-warranty version for busier arrays. We also include the Red SA500 SATA SSD, whose percentage-off badge deserves the same check as the hard drives. The older plain WD Red SMR drives are excluded entirely.

Verdicts compare today's price with the lowest price we have recorded for the same listing. Amazon was is Amazon's own reference price. Prices can change after our check; the price on Amazon.co.uk at checkout applies.
Is it really a deal?
WD's reduced-from prices are often set from list prices the drives rarely sold at, so each Red listing is checked against the lowest price we logged for it. 25 of 61 products we have re-priced are at or within 3% of their lowest recorded price; the WD Red Pro 22TB is equal to our recorded low of £365.00, logged on 25 Jul 2026. 27 sit above what we have recorded, such as the WD Red Plus 10TB, now 6% above our recorded low; those are in the collapsed list at the bottom. 6 prices are from an earlier check and are listed with their check date but not judged until we re-price them. 9 are too new to our tracker to measure, so any was-price shown is Amazon's own claim, not ours.
Prices we checked and would not pay (27)
These are above the lowest price we have recorded for the same listing, or above their 30-day median. They are here so you can see we checked them.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between WD Red and WD Red Plus?
Plain WD Red drives from 2 to 6TB use SMR, which is a poor fit for RAID. Red Plus is the CMR line, which is why it is the one we track.
Is WD Red Pro worth the extra over Red Plus?
For four or more bays, heavy use or a longer warranty, often yes. For a quiet two-bay at home, Red Plus does the job for less.
Is a percentage off the WD Red SA500 a real deal?
Only when today's figure is at or near the lowest price we logged; the badge itself is measured against WD's reference price. SATA SSD prices rose this year, so a reduction is not the same as a low.
Are WD Red Plus drives quieter than IronWolf?
Slightly, at matching sizes, and they run a touch cooler. The difference is small, so let price per terabyte decide unless the NAS sits on your desk.
